PERSONAL MANIFESTOS/PUBLIC CONTRADICTIONS:
THIS IS I/WE/YOU/US BELIEVE
An installation view in the MCA of the fused glass works suspended in front of text composed on the Chicago lake front with 23 Chicago Public School teachers.
Kiln casted glass created at Chicago Hot Glass in collaboration with C.P.S teachers, Michael Bancroft, Amanda Lichtenstein, & Jeremy Scidmore. Chicago Public Schools teachers visited CHG and created custom screens for screen printing enamel onto sheet glass. The painted glass was then stacked and fired to 1600 F in the kiln. The pieces were then water jet cut and shown at the Museum of Contemporary Art as part of an installation / performance on August 16th 2008.

GlassWorks Project
Cooperative Image Group & CCGA
Coopimage and The Chicago Center for the Glass Arts have completed their educational glass project "GlassWorks" this summer. Local youth artist created unique fused, painted, and hot ladled glass objects for a sculptural installation in the Cambell Street Garden located in Humboldt Park.
