Scott Percival

Kit Paulson Glassblower

After receiving a BFA with an Emphasis in Glass Forming from Emporia State University Education in 2006, Scott went on to be a studio tech intern at the Pittsburgh Glass Center. At the PGC Scott honed his skills in studio maintenance and repair, at the same time teaching glassblowing classes in the community. Scott has learned his craft under the tutelage of numerous highly skilled instructors as he has participated in classes and workshops in order to improve his glass working knowledge.

Scott has exhibited his work in a number of galleries and exhibitions including Handworks Gallery in Pittsburgh, PA, Hodge Gallery in Pittsburgh, PA, , Norman Eppink Gallery in Emporia, KS, Millenic Glass Gallery in Kansas City, MO and Stone House Gallery in Fredonia, KS.

After a move to Chicago, Scott found his way to Chicago Hot Glass where blows glass as an independent artist, teaches classes and lessons and does his part to keep  the studio functioning.
