Glass Blowing Studio Rental Rates ( 3 hour minimum per slot)

Hot shop bench rental includes the use of one glory hole, furnace, pipe warmer, and annealer space for one overnight cycle. More than one day of annealing requires an additional fee (refer to rates below). Up to 9 lbs of glass/hour is included, a fee for additional glass will be assessed at $2.50 / lb. of glass removed from the furnace, this includes the work, crack-off and drip off.

Cold Working and Finishing Equipment

The Cold Shop is the area of the glass studio where processes of grinding, polishing, sawing, engraving, etching, sandblasting and glueing occur. These processes are also known as "cold" processes. CHG currently has available a flat grit grinder, 24" diamond grinder, horizontal wet belt grinder, two dual arbor polishers, 9" wet saw, sandblaster, and acid bath.

All rates include the use of consumable items. (i.e. water, grit, sand and polishing belts)

Annealer Rentals

The following rates apply to rentals of an annealer reserved for sole use for a regular annealing cycle.

These rates also apply for each 12-hour increment beyond the regular cycle, if your work will require additional time.
