Rental time is available at the studio and can be booked by phone at 773 394 3252
Our medium (16 inch) holes are $40 per hour in 3 hour slots.
Our small (12 inch) hole is $35 per hour in 3 hour slots.
(The three hour slot is usually split between two glassblowers.)
If you need assistance or are looking for a partner to blow glass with, come on down to the studio, meet some glassblowers and put a notice up on the partners board.
(I hope to have a web based board up soon but you know how it goes.)
Our blowslot hours are
Monday through Thursday,
First slot is from 12:00 to 3:00
Second slot is from 3:30 to 6:30
Third slot is from 7:00 to 10:00
Friday
First slot is from 12:00 to 3:00
Second slot is from 3:30 to 6:30
Saturday and Sunday,
First slot is from 9:00 to 12:00
Second slot is from 12:30 to 3:30
If you have not been previously approved to blow at CHG our requirements are pretty simple: if you can properly use the tools to create a cylinder(ish) form while demonstrating acceptable safety procedures you are qualified to blow at CHG.
If you have trouble we can certainly hook you up with one of our classes or private instruction as you desire.
